International MV Roadside Help List
Updated June 6, 2007
The downloadable list at the bottom of this file is an example of the positive things that can
come out of an on-line community. This list originated from an idea by Arthur Bloom,
and was organized by the participants of the mil-veh web list server. The following are the RULES OF THE ROAD:
For people on the list, or who wish to be
- Send the following to a scorekeeper below: Your state, locale, name, email address, phone number, and any (non-obscene) remarks
- You are under no obligation to help, this is strictly a volunteer basis.
- If at any time you wish your name to be removed from the list, it will be done within 48 hours, no questions asked
- If there is some serious problem with the list itself that just can't wait, contact the system manager.
For people using the help list:
- Never take unfair advantage of the people on the list.
- You do not need to be on the list to use it.
- Never use the list for any commercial reason whatsoever.
For people maintaining the list:
- Must handle all complaints of abuse within 24 hours.
- Must publish their e-mail addresses on the web page, along with these rules.
- Exceptions: I might be traveling or whatever, will do add/delete as soon as possible.
