The black box mounted upside down between the rails is a Chicago RC8300 reactor rated at 8H, 300mA, 65 ohms, 3500V insulation. It is connected in series with the final screen grid during AM mode. The larger cylindrical part above the rails is the UTC CG-512 grid driver transformer for the 304TH modulators. The 0-120V 20A modulator plate voltage variable autotransformer is to the right of the drive transformer. The relay is part of the AM/CW selection circuit. A greenish 2uF 6KV HV B+ capacitor is seen on the lower left. The modulation transformer has been removed for now, as the transmitter was too heavy to move with it inside. The mod. transformer weighs about 200 lbs. It sits where you see the coffee cans (they are full of screws at this time).

Detour: The modulation transformer can be seen here. It needs some repair but seems to be OK. Note the large size of the transformer. I believe it is from an RCA 1KW transmitter, perhaps model 1-K
