4-wheelers are used for security, medics, and to keep soldiers supplied with water, recharged radio batteries, etc.

The CP contains white boards and maps displaying tactical information, as well as a communications base station.

Portable base station at the CP provides 20 watts RF power. The compact system includes a "12 volt DC" power supply, radio, loudspeaker, and a large sealed lead acid battery 'floating' on the 12V line.
